The Mercedes-AMG project-one concept car teaser image

while we anticipate the international motor show Germany in Frankfurt this month, Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser photo of the project-one concept car arhead of the motor show. this is an addition to mystery from the brand for this motor show.

The Mercedes-Benz's new mystery machine comes from Mercedes-AMG, the performance branch of the company. Not much details on the car yet, but some exciting things we know. It will be a two-seat "supersports" concept car, feature a hybrid drivetrain that makes over 1,000 horsepower and have a top speed of around 217 mph.
The hybrid portion of the drivetrain will utilize "fully fledged" Formula One hybrid technology, which likely means a modified version of the energy recovery system found on current F1 cars. The ERS is connected to the turbocharger of the engine and converts heat from the exhaust gases into energy that's stored in a battery. The driver can use this energy during the race, but the amount they can use per lap is limited to an additional 160 hp for approximately 33 seconds per lap.

We'll have more details on the Project One and other debuts at the International Motor Show Germany when they become available closer to the show's opening on Sept. 14.
